BROKEN DOWN GUITARS

We are BROKEN DOWN GUITARS

Based out of Bend, we are a eclectic mix of rock, blues, and americana, with huge vocals and ripping string solos.

Broken Down Guitars is a six piece band from Bend, OR., that delivers a unique blend of blues, soul and classic rock with a jam sensibility. Known for soulful, powerhouse harmonic vocals and passionately inspired instrumentals, they play an eclectic mix of danceable music that is ever evolving. Led by talented songwriter Stacie Johnson along with smooth bluesy derived tunes from Kent Howes, all six members of BDGs write original material. The band boasts double lead guitar, keys and three vocalists. They've been playing together since 2012 including Bend, Oregon's Last Band Standing; where they were the 2012 champions and the 2014 4 Peaks Music Festival. Additionally the band has played in numerous festivals such as Bend Summerfest, Fallfest, and Munch and Music. In the Summer of 2014, the band began to expand its range into the rest of the Pacific Northwest. Overall, this band likes to have fun, a quality that they bring to every show that they play.
